Music moves me deeply. And dancing. I bring an average of 4 extra shirts to wedding receptions and they all get used. Working at a previous employer, I would arrive earlier than everyone else and start the day by drifting from office-to-office praying over the person's belovedness and connection to God. Once, I was just listening to really hyped up music and instead of forming words I simply visualized the triune God dancing around each person and that person exuberantly laughing and dancing in complete peace and ecstasy. I would cry, wanting that level of trust and connectedness in each person. I know that Love transforms.
When I'm really feeling a season of life, whether we're in transition, celebrating, mourning, or working on a project, I like to soundtrack-stamp that season with music that deeply connects to the season. Flowing through a couple of songs often leads me to grateful weeping for the Love or sad weeping for the painful stories.
This below playlist is called "Light-Bearing Mobilization - Trust". The frequency, rhythm, and rhyme connects me to the heart of God for me and others.
